You know him of course as the lead guitarist from the group Rage Against the Machine, the lead guitarist of Audioslave, and now for his solo acoustic work as The Nightwatchman. He comes in to talk with Ron about his newest album- World Wide Rebel Songs, which features the soon to be smash hit, Black Spartacus Suicide Machine.
Next, we play an interview with Perry Farrell, frontman for two great alt rock bands, Jane’s Addiction, and Porno for Pyros. Perry stopped by to talk about the formation of his newest band, Satellite Party, and their debut CD, Ultra Payloaded.
We’re also playing an interview Ron did with journalist, radio show host and author Lou Dobbs, who anchored CNN’s Lou Dobbs Moneyline and Lou Dobbs Tonight for nearly a decade before moving the show to the Fox Business Network in 2009. Lou stopped by to talk about the release of his fourth book, War on the Middle Class.
Finally, Ron talked with Steve Mazan, a young comic. When Steve found out that he had cancer and might only have five years to live, he dedicated his life to reaching a childhood goal: to perform stand up comedy on David Letterman’s show. He came in to talk to Ron about his journey as well as the release of a new film documenting his story– Dying to Do Letterman.
