Ron Bennington Interviews: 07/17/11

This week, Ron Bennington Interviews two members of the cast of Curb Your Enthusiasm, followed by three Academy Award Winning filmmakers.  Don’t miss this great episode airing on Stars Too on Sunday, July 17, 2011.

First, Ron sits down with Jeff Garlin, who you know as Jeff Greene on Curb Your Enthusiasm.  Right after, Ron talks with Susie Essman who plays Jeff’s on screen wife, Susie Green. Both Jeff and Susie are in to talk about the new season of Curb, and how the show has changed their lives.

Next, Ron sits down with three great documentarians to talk about their newest projects. First, Errol Morris, known as much for his Oscar winning documentary The Fog of War as he is for The Thin Blue Line.  He stops by to talk with Ron about his newest film, Tabloid, about a former beauty queen who travels halfway around the world to either rescue or kidnap and rape (depending on who you believe) her Mormon ex boyfriend.

Then Ron talks with Academy Award winning director Alex Gibney, (Taxi to the Darkside, Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room) about his new film Magic Trip.  This film uses archival footage and interviews to document the famous trip that Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters took across the country in the famous Magic Bus.

And finally, Ron talks to James Marsh who directed the Academy Award winning film Man on Wire.  He is in to talk about his latest movie, Project Nim which documents the life of a chimpanzee who was raised as a human child in the 70′s to see if could learn speech.

Make sure you don’t miss this amazing lineup.  Ron Bennington Interviews airs this Sunday, July 17, 2011 on Stars Too on Sirius XM 104.  The show begins at 2pm in the east until 5pm.  A shortened version of Ron Bennington Interviews will also air on the Virus Channel on Sunday Night along with an episode of Unmasked featuring Special Guest Paul Provenza.
